Grand Central Station
Connersville's Grand Central Station currently stands on the location of the old New York Central freight station. At one time, it would have been a normal sight to see steam engines cruising down the Whitewater valley from Hagerstown to Cincinnati at 45 miles per hour. Freight was loaded and unloaded at this location and passengers would have boarded across the canal at the passenger depot.

The Whitewater Valley Railroad is a 501c3 non profit operating railroad museum dedicated to the preservation of a historic branch line railroad, to the restoration of railroad equipment, and to the conduct of educational railroad programs.
